Red Eagle Community Work Center
The Red Eagle Community Work Center is a minimum-security facility located in Montgomery, Alabama, that is operated by the Alabama Department of Corrections. This work center opened in 1972 and sits on 364 acres.
This facility houses a maximum of 233 male inmates who are nearing the end of their sentence. The community work center is a transitional facility that allows inmates to work outside of the facility and in the community during the day.

The mission of the Red Eagle Community Work Center is to provide suitable surroundings, work programs, and staff to help the inmates reintegrate into society. The staff strives to be one of the best qualified of any institution in the state.
