Appling is located in Baxley, Georgia. The maximum capacity of this detention center is 206, and the host facility is Ware State Prison.
The mission of the Appling Integrated Treatment Facility is to reduce chronic recidivism of substance abuse and crime. The nine-month residential treatment program is for high risk, high needs offenders who have a history of substance abuse.
The program is designed to help the residents through a structured living environment and providing work opportunities, while targeting the probationers re-entry needs and reducing their risk of reoffending.
The housing at Appling consists of four dorms with 50 beds each in single cells.

Who Can Visit?
Members of an inmate's immediate family (parents, brothers, sisters, spouse, grandparents, grandchildren, and children) are eligible for visitation approval. If you are not an immediate family member, you still may be allowed to visit as a significant relationship visitor. However, the inmate must initiate the request.
The inmate must put you on their visiting list first and the Georgia Department of Corrections must approve your application before you can visit. Visitor applications are available by clicking here.
