Treasure Valley Community Reentry Center
The Treasure Valley Community Re-entry Center is a minimum-security facility located in Kuna, Idaho. This facility houses 108 adult male inmates who are nearing the end of their sentence and who are preparing for release from the custody of the Idaho Department of Corrections.
Community re-entry centers, in the state of Idaho, are residential facilities that serve two main purposes. They allow residents to work while becoming reunited with their families and community, giving the residents a chance to prepare themselves for release. The re-entry centers also provide protection to the community through security and high accountability measures.

The Treasure Valley Community Re-entry Center has a set visiting schedule and check-in times, but the visiting schedule is subject to change based on emergency situations. Visitors who are not on time will be turned away. Special visits must be approved in advance.

All visitors must complete the Visiting Application Adult or Visiting Application Minor Child (if applicable) and have their application approved by the Idaho DOC before they can visit a resident at the Treasure Valley Community Re-entry Center.

General Visiting Rules
Attempting to bring contraband into the Treasure Valley Community Re-entry Center is a crime in the state of Idaho. Contraband includes (but is not limited to) tobacco, cell phones or telecommunication equipment, controlled/illegal substances, firearms or dangerous weapons, ammunition/explosives, and escape tools or devices.
Any visitor who is caught trying to bring contraband into the Treasure Valley Community Re-entry Center will be arrested and charged with a crime that is punishable by five years in prison and/or a fine of up to $10,000.
A visitor suspected of being under the influence of intoxicating beverages or drugs will be denied visitation. The use of tobacco products on IDOC property (including parking areas) is not allowed. No tobacco can be brought into any facility, and all tobacco products must be stored in a locked vehicle.
Visitors over the age of 16 must have valid and current photo identification (a driver’s license, state-issued ID, military ID, or valid/current United States passport). Visitors between the age of 16 and 18 years can also use student ID cards issued by their schools.
Allowed Items
The following items are allowed in the visiting room: Photo ID, money for vending machines, vehicle keys, and if small children are visiting, a diaper bag. The diaper bag may contain diapers; wipes; a pacifier; two bottles of formula, milk, water, or juice; a container of baby food or cereal.
No cell phones, beepers, laptop/palm computers, cameras, or other electronic equipment is allowed in the visiting room.
Visitors are not allowed to give or receive any items from residents.
No food or drink from outside the facility can be brought into the visiting room. Visitors may purchase food and drink items from the vending machines to share with a resident but must provide their own change or vending card.
Dress Code
Visitors must wear clothing that is conservative and modest, and proper undergarments must be worn. All visitors, including children, must wear shoes -- no bare feet.
The following clothing items are not allowed in the visiting room: sleeveless garments, bare midriffs, scrubs, shorts, cutoffs, miniskirts, hats, caps, bandanas, doo-rags, spandex, and low-cut or see-through clothing. Multi-layered clothing that could be used to conceal contraband, such as coats and sweatshirts, are also not allowed.

Residents at Treasure Valley Community Re-entry Center are allowed to receive letters (no packages) and photos (no Polaroids or nudity) from family and friends. Personal letters will be opened by staff and searched for contraband.
