Glendale City Jail
The Glendale City Jail is located in Glendale, Arizona and is operated by the Glendale Police Department. This facility briefly holds adult male and female inmates who have been arrested by city law enforcement.
The Glendale City Jail holds individuals who have been arrested and are awaiting their initial appearance in court for either felony or misdemeanor charges. Most inmates are not in the Glendale City Jail for longer than one or two days.
If an inmate can't make bail, they are transferred to the Maricopa County 4th Avenue Jail in Phoenix. This is where you can send money to your inmate and schedule visitation.
Detainees can be released on bond prior to seeing a judge if their charge carries a preset bond established by a court. While in jail, detainees are able to make unlimited collect phone calls to advise others of their situation or arrange for bond.
If you know someone who has been arrested, but do not know where they are, you can call the Glendale Police Department at (623) 930-3020 to see if they are in their custody.
Released parties can be picked up at 6835 N. 57th Drive, located in the plaza between the City Court and the Glendale Police Department. Inmates who are transported to Court by the Maricopa County Sheriff's Department are released from the 4th Avenue Jail in Phoenix.
Inmate Property can be picked up at the Glendale Police Property Room located on the southwest side of the building. Property can be picked up daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., except Tuesdays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. The contact number for property pickup is (623) 930-3375.
