Graham County Detention Facility

The Graham County Detention Facility is located in Safford, Arizona, and is operated by the Graham County Sheriff's Office. This facility houses adult male and female inmates who have been arrested by local county or city law enforcement and is the primary detention center for all law enforcement agencies in Graham County. 

The Graham County Detention Facility houses individuals who have been charged with a crime and are awaiting trial. Inmates are incarcerated at the Graham County Detention Facility for crimes ranging from violations to misdemeanors to felonies. The facility also houses inmates who are awaiting transfer to the Arizona Department of Corrections.

Visiting Hours and Rules

The Graham County Detention Facility offers video visitation through VizVox. To schedule a visit call (888) 646-9437 and follow the prompts or visit the IC Solutions website to create an account and schedule visitation. Inmates are allowed one free video visit per week. All additional video visits cost $7.50.

  • All visits must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance and up to one week in advance.
  • All visits are 30 minutes long. Offsite visits can be done by the visitor at home using a computer or phone with a camera and a Windows or Android operating system. Currently the visits cannot be done on an iPhone.
  • All visits are recorded and monitored.

On-Site Visits

Inmates are allowed one 30-minute on-site visit per week. Visitors must be 18 years of age or older to schedule a visit. Under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. 

Visitation Rules & Dress Codes

No more than two visitors per visit. 12 and older are considered a visitor (no switching out). You must have your ID or you will not be permitted. Visitors must have a current, valid government issued photo identification card.

Shorts must be no more than two inches above the knee. No tank tops, halter tops, spaghetti straps or low cut blouses. Dresses must be no more than two inches above the knee.

How to Call an Inmate

You can't call an inmate who is housed at the Graham County Detention Facility, but they do have access to phones in their housing units (after their initial appearance, within 24 hours of their arrest) and can make outgoing collect calls.
