Santa Cruz County Jail
The Santa Cruz Adult Detention Center is located in Nogales, Arizona, at the Tony Estrada Law Enforcement Center and is operated by the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office. The jail houses adult male and female inmates who have been arrested by local county or city law enforcement. It is designed to hold a maximum of 372 inmates.
Inmates are incarcerated at the Santa Cruz County Adult Detention Center for crimes ranging from violations to misdemeanors to felonies. The facility also houses those who have been charged with a crime and are awaiting trial, as well as state inmates awaiting transfer to the Arizona Department of Corrections.

Visiting Hours and Rules
The Santa Cruz County Adult Detention Center utilizes a video visitation system. This means that the public doesn't have to wait in line or undergo searches in order to visit an inmate.
To schedule a video visitation session contact the detention center at (520) 761-7875 at least one day in advance. Visitors must have a government issued photo ID.
Public Visitation is allowed on Saturdays and Sundays, only at the following times:
8:00 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.
2:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
All visitors must present a valid photo ID (Government or State issued ID/Driver License) for admittance to the Video Visitation Center.
Personal items, drugs, alcohol, food, drink, weapons, and tobacco products are NOT allowed. All electronic devices, including cell phones, must be turned off or the visit will be terminated.
Even with video visitation, there is a dress code. Clothing that may be considered obscene, offensive, or disruptive is not allowed. The supervisor or officer in charge of visitation will have the ultimate decision.
Conduct that is disruptive or disrespectful in any manner will not be tolerated. The visit will be canceled at any time deemed necessary by the supervisor or officer in charge, if necessary.
You may only visit the inmate you signed up for.

How to Call an Inmate
You can't call an inmate who is housed at the Santa Cruz County Adult Detention Center, but they do have access to phones in their housing units (after their initial appearance, within 24 hours of their arrest) and can make outgoing collect calls.
How to Send Money
To send money to an inmate at the Santa Cruz Adult Detention Center, visit Access Corrections. There is also a kiosk in the jail lobby where you can add money with a debit or credit card. You can also mail a money order or cashier's check directly to the inmate.
