Bonds

The Clear Creek County Jail accepts bonds 24 hours a day, seven days a week (including holidays). They only accept cash bonds, credit card bonds, or surety bonds via a bail bondsman. They do not allow property bonds. 

Cash bonds must be for the full amount of the bond as set by the court, plus a ten-dollar bonding fee. Inmates are also charged a $30 processing fee that must be paid prior to release. In other words, add $40 to the amount of the bond.

Credit Card bonds must be for the full amount of the bond as set by the court, plus an extra $40 fee ($10 bonding, $30 processing).

Please Note: The Jpay Kiosk located in the Sheriff’s Office Lobby can only accept credit card bond deposits up to $999.00.  If the inmate's bond is higher than that amount, you will need to make up the difference with cash, call 1-(877) 392-2455, or go online to www.govpaynow.com to make up the difference, or pay the full amount.  Jpay Pay Location Code (PLC) # = A003OL.

Visiting Hours and Rules

All visits at the Clear Creek County Jail are non-contact. Visitors use a video phone in the Sheriff’s Office Lobby and the inmate uses a video phone from the jail. All visits are monitored and recorded.

Video visitation in the jail lobby is available six days a week (Tuesday through Sunday). Visiting hours are 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., and 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Each visit can last a maximum of 30 minutes.

  • Each inmate is allowed two 30 minute visits per week (Tuesday through Sunday), or two 30 minute visits back to back once per week.
  • You are not allowed to visit an inmate if you are on parole or probation or are a co-defendant on the inmate’s case. You are not allowed to visit if you have been released from this facility within the last 30 days before the visit. 
  • If you are obviously under the influence of drugs or alcohol you will not be able to visit.
  • Visitors must be appropriately dressed. Shirts and shoes are required. no form-fitting, suggestive or revealing clothing will be permitted. Persons inappropriately dressed will not be allowed to visit. 
  • Two adult visitors are allowed per visitation booth. More than two may visit at once, but more than two or three people will severely limit the amount of time that each visitor will have to speak with the inmate.
  • All adult visitors (over 18) must have a government issued photo ID. Children are allowed to visit only if they are the children of the person incarcerated. A birth certificate or other legal documentation must be shown proving that the incarcerated person is the parent of the children.

Remote Video Visits

Remote visits via iWebVisit may be scheduled seven days a week, from 7:30 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. Each visit is 15 minutes in length, with up to three remote video visits allowed per day. 

Login to your account at iWebVisit, select a facility, select the inmate you wish to visit, then reserve your visit date and time. Same day visits may be scheduled one hour prior to the desired time. You will receive an email with instructions for conducting your visit from anywhere.

  • These visits are recorded and may be monitored.
  • If an inmate or visitor displays inappropriate behavior or becomes a threat to the safety of the facility, the visit will be terminated immediately, and they may lose future visitation privileges.
  • A monthly fee of $2.95 is charged by iWebVisit for each visitor.
  • A $5.00 fee is charged by iWebVisit for each 15-minute unit visit.

How to Call an Inmate

Inmates at the Clear Creek County Jail cannot receive incoming phone calls, however, they have access to phones and can make outgoing calls from the inmate housing area. Phone calls are recorded and may be monitored at any time.

Inmates are given one free phone call to attempt to bond out or notify someone that they are in custody. Phone calls after this are either a collect call or made with a phone card that the inmate can purchase through the jail. The inmate phone provider is Securus, with the billing portion handled by Correctional Billing Services. Their customer service number is 800-844-6591.

Phone calls are limited to 15 minutes. You should hear a warning tone 30 seconds before it is terminated.

Phone numbers can be blocked by the Detentions staff. If you are receiving unwanted phone calls from an inmate at the Clear Creek County Jail, please call 303-679-2396 and ask that your number be blocked.
