The Florida VINE system is a service through which victims of crime can search for information regarding the custody status of their offender, and to register to receive phone calls and e-mail notifications when the offender’s custody status changes.

Inmates being held for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the Florida Department of Corrections (DOC), or charges from other counties will not be found by going to the VINE Link above. You will have to call the jail.
Bonding someone out of the Gadsden County Jail
The method (cash/surety) and amount of money needed for bonding someone out of the Gadsden County Jail depends on their charges. Most crimes, but not all crimes, are bondable offenses.
When you pay a cash bond, it is refunded to you when all court appearances have been made and the case is discharged, dismissed, or a not guilty verdict rendered. If the arrestee fails to appear or is found guilty, the money will be forfeited.
When you use a Bail Bondsman for a surety bond, you will not get a refund.

How to Call an Inmate
Inmates at the Gadsden County Jail cannot receive incoming phone calls, however, they have access to phones and can make outgoing calls from the inmate housing area. Phone calls are recorded and may be monitored at any time.
How to Send Money
The Gadsden County Jail has teamed up with Access Secure Deposits to provide an easy way for friends and family to make deposits into inmate’s canteen accounts using a debit or credit card.

Gadsden County Jail does NOT accept personal checks, bank draft checks, or money orders for deposit into inmate canteen accounts through the mail or in person. All payments into inmate accounts must be made using the Access Secure Deposit system.
Programs For Inmates
- Inmate Work Crew
- Education behind bars- Basic Education - GED
- In an effort to help inmates work toward at least a General Education Diploma (GED), the Corrections Bureau partnered with Tallahassee Community College to create a program geared toward helping inmates advance educationally.
- Some inmates are not incarcerated long enough to complete the program and earn a GED. However, they are encouraged to continue their education through the TCC Quincy House, located in downtown Quincy.
- Faith-Based Initiatives
- In November 2004, the Rev. Jimmy Salters became the first full-time Chaplain in the history of the Gadsden County Jail.
- Since that time there has been a noticeable decline in the number of inmate altercations and a positive environment has been established.
- This program is designed to give inmates an opportunity for spiritual growth in an effort to reduce recidivism.
