Catoosa County Jail
This jail houses adult male and female inmates—both felony and misdemeanor offenders—who have been arrested by local county or municipal law enforcement, as well as pre-trial and convicted inmates.
The mission of the jail is to provide a safe and secure environment for both the citizens of Catoosa County and inmates by adhering to Federal and State laws and standards.

If you need assistance, the Jail Lobby / Reception area is manned Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., except on Major Holidays. After hours and during the weekend, an intercom is located on the reception counter for direct contact with the Jail Control Room.
Inmate Medication and Property
All medication must be dropped off to medical staff between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm. Medication older than 30 days and medication that has not been filled will not be accepted. All medication must be in the prescribed bottle and include the inmate’s name.
The Catoosa County Jail does not allow property drop off for inmates. They may order hygiene and clothing items from the commissary while in custody
Bonding someone out of the Catoosa County Jail
If an inmate has bondable charges, he or she can bond out at any time. A bond can be paid with or without a bail bond agent. The method (cash/surety) and amount of money needed for bonding someone out of the Catoosa County Jail depends on their charges. Most crimes, but not all crimes, are bondable offenses.
- Cash Bond
When you pay a cash bond, it is refunded to you when all court appearances have been made and the case is discharged, dismissed, or a not guilty verdict rendered. If the arrestee fails to appear, the money will be forfeited.
To sign a cash bond you must bring a photo identification card and enough cash to cover the bond. The sheriff's office only accepts paper money (no change allowed). The entire amount of the cash bond must be paid before the inmate is released.
All bonds must be accompanied with a State of Georgia Bond fee of $20 that must be paid in cash.
- Surety Bond
When you use a Bail Bondsman for a surety bond, you will be required to pay a fee (equal to 15 percent of the bond amount) that will not be refunded.

Visiting Hours and Rules
For visiting information at the Catoosa County Jail, call 706-965-6862.
Visits occur daily from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. All visitors must sign up either in the visitation room on the Scheduler or by going to Sercurustech.net. Visits are scheduled for 20 minutes and may be canceled or delayed due to security measures.
All visits at the Catoosa County Jail are conducted via video. On-site visits are free of charge, and you can schedule them remotely. If you do not have internet access you can schedule a visit at the Catoosa County Jail, 12 hours in advance, by using the scheduler located in the visitation area.
If you have a computer and high speed internet access you can visit your loved one from the comfort of your home for a minimal charge. You must schedule an off-site visit, 12 hours in advance, from the Securus Video Visitation Website.
Once you schedule a visit you will be charged for that visit, regardless of whether you keep the appointment, unless you cancel the visit within the terms of the agreement.

Due to security concerns, inmate mail must be in the form of a postcard. Letters and envelopes are no longer accepted at the Catoosa County Jail. Postcards must be no larger than 5 x7 inches.
Inmates may also receive electronic mail through the jail Kiosk system. Friends and family can log onto Jailatm.com and set up an account. Electronic messages/mail are fee-based. To send and receive messages, you must have a valid email address.How to Call an Inmate
Inmates at the Catoosa County Jail cannot receive incoming phone calls, however, they have access to phones and can make outgoing calls from the inmate housing area daily. Phone calls are recorded and may be monitored at any time.
Inmates have access to phones daily beginning after breakfast up to evening dinner. After dinner is completed the phones are turned back on until 9:30 p.m.
Phone calls can be made collect, or you can deposit money into the inmate’s phone account.
When an inmate is calling collect, you will hear a message that gives you a cost quote, and you must agree to the terms when prompted before accepting the call.
To set up a prepaid phone account, visit Securustech.net. Inmates that are on disciplinary separation are given access to the phone for one hour per day and the time is determined on a daily basis.How to Send Money
All inmates at the Catoosa County Jail are set up with an inmate cash account when they are booked into the facility. This account is used by the inmate to purchase commissary items and phone calls. There are three ways to deposit money:
