It does, however, provide an alternative for attorneys to communicate with clients in a timely and efficient manner.

Requests for virtual meetings require 24 hours advance notice and are scheduled in 30 to 60-minute increments. Requests can be made at [email protected] or 229-838-5000.

Consular Visits
Consular officials are allowed to meet with their detained nationals at any time. Whenever possible, prior arrangements should be made with the ICE Supervisory Deportation Officer. All consular officials should bring appropriate credentials.

The ICE Supervisory Detention and Deportation Officer in charge of Stewart Detention Center can be reached by calling (229) 838-1105.

Clergy Visits
Clergy are allowed to visit detainees at any time, but they must make arrangements with the Chaplain’s Office.
