Visiting Hours and Rules
Visiting hours at Pulaski County Detention Center are as follows:
Fridays: 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Saturdays and Sundays: 9 a.m. – 11 a.m., 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
General Rules
Detainees are allotted 30 minutes for visitation, and all visits are non-contact. To allow enough time for processing through security, visitors must arrive at least 45 minutes prior to their visiting time.
Adult visitors must present a valid, verifiable government-issued identification card to enter the facility. Minors who are visiting the facility must be accompanied by an adult guardian (18 years or older).
All visitors (adults and minors) are subject to a pat-down search of their person, an inspection of their belongings, and a metal scan search. If you refuse to cooperate with a reasonable search, you will not be admitted.
No firearms or weapons of any kind are permitted. No electronic devices (cell phones, pagers, radios, etc.) are permitted in the secure areas of the Pulaski County Detention Center.
Attorney Visits
Attorneys and paralegals may visit detainees at any time, but should call ahead to schedule their visit at (618) 845-3512.
Consular Visits
Consular officials are allowed to meet with their detained nationals at any time. When possible, arrangements should be made with the ICE Supervisory Deportation Officer in advance by calling (708) 449-2488. All consular officials should bring appropriate credentials.
Clergy Visits
Clergy are allowed to visit detainees housed at Pulaski County Detention Center at any time. However, arrangements must be made in advance through the chaplain's office

When sending a detainee mail through the US Postal Service, you must include the last four digits of their Alien number, plus your name and address. The staff at Pulaski County Detention Center does not read incoming detainee mail, but they do screen it for contraband.
Sending Packages

Detainees who are being removed from the United States are allowed one small piece of luggage. This can be sent after receiving approval from the Supervisory Deportation Officer. For security reasons, no electronic devices (cell phones, electric razors, laptop computers, radios, etc.) are accepted.
How to Call an Inmate
Detainees at Pulaski County Detention Center can't receive incoming calls. However, if you need to leave an urgent message you can call (618) 845-3112.
The message should include the detainee's full name, their alien registration number, a telephone number where you can be reached, and a brief description of the reason for the emergency call.
How to Send Money
You can send money to a detainee at Pulaski County Detention Center by mailing a money order or cashier's check directly to the detainee. Do not send cash. The processing officer will put the money into the detainee's account and issue a receipt.

To Post a Delivery Bond
When a detainee in ICE custody is placed into removal proceedings while they are in the United States, a delivery bond may be posted. When you post a delivery bond, you are required to show proof of identity.
Bonds for aliens detained by ICE can be posted at ICE ERO bond acceptance offices nationwide, Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., local time.
