Visiting Hours and Rules
Visiting hours at Calhoun County Correctional Center are Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. You must sign in by 2:15 p.m. for visitation.
General Rules
To give staff enough time to process visitors through security, you must arrive 45 minutes prior to the scheduled visit time. All adult visitors must have a valid, government-issued photo ID to enter Calhoun County Correctional Center.
Minors who are visiting the facility must be accompanied by an adult guardian (18 years or older). Minors must not be left unaccompanied in the waiting room, visiting room or any other area.
All visits are Non-contact. All visitors are subject to search while in the facility. You are not allowed to pass or attempt to pass any items to detainees. Visitors are not allowed to carry any items into the visitation area. If visitors are or appear to be intoxicated, they will not be allowed to visit.
No electronic devices (cell phones, pagers, radios, etc.) are permitted in the secure areas of this facility. You are advised to leave these items in your vehicle.
Attorney Visits
Attorneys and paralegals may visit detainees daily between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Consular Visits
Consular officials are allowed to meet with their detained nationals at any time. Prior arrangements should be made with the ICE Supervisory Deportation Officer, whenever possible. All consular officials should bring appropriate credentials.

All mail sent to detainees must include the last four digits of their Alien number, plus the sender’s name and address. Staff does not read the mail but does screen for contraband.

Detainees who are being removed from the United States are allowed one small piece of luggage. You can send the luggage after getting approval from the Supervisory Deportation Officer. For security reasons, no electronic devices (cell phones, electric razors, laptop computers, radios, etc.) are allowed.
How to Call an Inmate
You can't call a detainee at Calhoun County Correctional Center and talk to them directly. If you need to contact a detainee, call (269) 969-6304 and leave a message.

When a detainee receives money in the mail, it's taken to the processing area and placed into their account. The processing officer will provide a receipt for all funds received. Detainees should not have cash sent to them in the mail.
To Post a Delivery Bond
Delivery bonds are posted when a person has been taken into ICE custody and placed into removal proceedings while they are in the United States. When you post a delivery bond, you are required to show proof of identity.
Bonds for aliens detained by ICE can be posted at ICE ERO bond acceptance offices nationwide, Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., local time.
