Visiting Hours and Rules
Visiting hours at Branchville Correctional Facility are on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Holidays from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (Central Time Zone).

Visitors List
If you wish to visit an inmate at Branchville, you must be on their visitors’ list. If you are unsure about your status, please contact the inmate via mail. Do not call the facility for this information. It cannot be given over the phone.
Registration
Visitors must register with staff prior to entering the visiting area. You will be required to sign the entry log and be approved for the visit before you are allowed to enter the visiting area.
Everyone 16 years old or older is required to show a picture identification. All visitors must present valid identification each time they visit. The only forms of identification accepted by the DOC are: valid driver’s license from the state of residence, valid state photo identification card from the state of residence, valid photo military identification card (active duty only), or a valid passport.
All minor visitors under the age of 16 must have a birth certificate or state issued ID. All visitors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Only three visitors are permitted to visit at one time plus children that can be held on visitors’ laps. Visits are limited to one hour.
What can you bring to a visit?
All visitors must secure all their personal items in their vehicles or in a locker in the entrance to the visiting room. Items permitted in the visiting room include:
- A wedding and/or engagement ring
- Medical necklace/bracelet
- Religious necklace
- Up to $20 in change for the vending machines (no paper money)
- Tissues or a handkerchief
- Eyeglasses
- One Empty Baby Bottle
- One Empty Sipping Cup
- One Pacifier
- One Receiving Blanket
- Car keys
No costume jewelry, including watches and fitbits are permitted in the visiting room.
Dress Code
The following clothing items are not allowed in the visiting room:
- Halter Tops
- Sleeveless dresses or tops
- Revealing dresses, blouses, or tops, including see-through garments
- Spandex pants and tight-fitting jeans
- Clothing with holes
All shorts must be no shorter than two inches above the knee, and winter coats are not permitted inside the visiting room.
All adult female visitors are required to wear a non-wired bra.

How to Send Money
The only way to send money to an inmate at Branchville Correctional Facility is by using JPAY money orders.
