Winston-Choctaw County Correctional Facility
Winston-Choctaw County Correctional Facility is a mixed-custody regional correctional facility for male and female inmates located in Louisville, Mississippi. It can house up to 380 sentenced inmates and pre-trial detainees.
Winston-Choctaw County Correctional Facility was built as a medium-security prison, but is now classified as low-security. It is made up of modules, each containing four dormitories that have a sleeping area, dining area/ day room, restrooms, disciplinary cells, a multipurpose room, an infirmary, a visiting center, and security stations. It can house approximately 90 inmates per dormitory "block".

General Visiting Rules
Visiting rules and regulations are made available to all inmates at the time of their admission into Winston-Choctaw County Regional Correctional Facility. The same information will be made available to visitors upon request, but it is the responsibility of each inmate to provide his/her intended visitors with the rules and regulations concerning visitation.
No cellphones or personal belongings are allowed during your visit. You will be searched before visiting. If you are on probation, parole, or other community corrections supervision, you must obtain permission from your supervising officer and the facility superintendent prior to a visit.
If the visitor is under the age of 18 and is a family member of the inmate, they must be accompanied by an adult family member or guardian to include a member of the inmate's extended family. If the visitor is under the age of 18 and is not a family member of the inmate, the minor visitor must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Dress Code
MALE VISITORS
- Shirts must be worn
- No tank tops or bare midriffs
- Shorts may not be above the knee
- No cut-off shorts, jogging shorts, or biking shorts
- Shoes/tennis shoes must be worn
- Under shorts will be worn
- Shorts and long pants must be worn above the hips
- No hats or head covering of any kind
FEMALE VISITORS
- Shorts may not be above the knee
- No hip huggers, cut-offs, jogging shorts, or biking shorts
- Skirts and dresses will not be above the knee
- Slits will not extend above the knee when seated
- No sheer clothing
- No tank tops or bare midriffs
- Shoes/tennis shoes must be worn
- Bras and panties will be worn
- No hat or head covering of any kind

- Food items/hygiene/medical items
- Writing material, including stamps, must be purchased from Canteen
- Sexually explicit material is subject to rejection
All mail received must be received in a legal or letter envelope.
