Dick Conner Correctional Center
Dick Conner Correctional Center is a medium-security prison for male inmates that is located in Hominy, Oklahoma. This facility has the capacity to house 1,196 inmates, and it is operated by the Oklahoma Department of Corrections.
Even though this is a medium-security prison, this facility also has a minimum-security unit on its grounds.
DCCC received its first inmates in 1979, and cost $12.8 million to build. It is one of only eight state prisons originally built to house inmates. The prison is named after former Oklahoma State Penitentiary Warden and Osage County Sheriff R. B. "Dick" Conner.

Visiting Hours and Rules
Visitation hours vary by each facility. An inmate's security level dictates how many hours he or she may visit with approved visitors.
At DCCC, visitation takes place on Saturdays, Sundays, and all state-recognized holidays.
State-recognized holidays that fall on Monday through Friday are “free” visiting days. An inmate's level will dictate the number of hours an inmate may visit on the free visiting day.
Holidays are free visitation days. That means visits on those days do not count against the total number of hours allowed to an inmate. If a holiday falls on Saturday or Sunday, then the hours will count on the total visiting privilege level hours.
Dick Conner Correctional Center visiting hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays.
Processing visitors starts through the sign in/shakedown process at 8:30 a.m. and stops at 1:30 p.m.
Level 1 – one hour behind glass
Level 2 – 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Level 3 – 9 a.m.-3 p.m. up to four hours per weekend
Level 4 – 9 a.m.-3 p.m. up to six hours per weekend
Holidays will not count toward the total number of visiting hours.
Inmates are responsible for contacting their approved visitors regarding visiting hours.
Visiting Application
All inmate visitors must submit a “Visitor Request Form." You can find a copy of it here.
Background checks will be completed on everyone over 18 or older. The inmate will notify you when the process is complete. The approval process takes approximately eight weeks once the Visitor Request Form has been returned to DCCC.

Programs For Inmates
Education
Educating inmates is a key component in avoiding re-incarceration. DCCC offers literacy courses as well as Pre-High School Equivalency and High School Equivalency diplomas. Associate's and/or bachelor's degrees may be earned through partnerships with Tulsa Community College and Langston University.
Substance Abuse Treatment
Nearly all state inmates have some form of substance abuse problem, and for many, that problem is closely related to their criminal behavior. To counteract this, DCCC programming teaches inmates ways to avoid drug and alcohol use, while also helping them develop the cognitive, social, emotional, and coping skills needed to avoid using.
Criminal Thinking
DCCC offers Thinking for a Change, Moral Reconation Therapy, and Associates 4 Success programs to address the thinking, judgment errors, and negative relationships linked with criminal thinking/behavior.
Specialized Units
DCCC is one of several state prisons that have infirmaries on their grounds. These provide intensive monitoring and treatment for inmates requiring that level of care 24-7.
DCCC is also home to a Faith and Character unit. The unit helps inmates address negative behavior/thinking patterns in a faith-based setting while they develop positive habits and set pro-social goals.
