CIP is designed for inmates to successfully complete the program in a minimum of 140 days. This program is voluntary, but the elements of the program are mandatory. The components of the CIP are structured around personal orientation and rehabilitative programming.

This program includes rigorous physical activity, manual work assignments; regimentation and discipline; and instruction on military bearing.
